Just missing by Christopher Walken
talk in the mysterious case of the death of Natalie Wood, now that it has
reopened the investigation into the facts and when the 30th anniversary of the
incident.
But the star of "The
Hunter" responded with a terse "do not know" when a reporter
asked how he felt about the attention aroused by the case in recent days.
Walken, who was 38 when his
partner died of shooting, was the subject of a heated argument with the
actress's husband, Robert Wagner, on November 29, 1981. The discussion revolved
around the need to sacrifice personal life after a great career in cinema, a
position with which Wagner disagreed.
Walken suggested that Wood should
live your life in the same way, away from his personal life, which infuriated
Wagner, who ended up crashing a bottle of wine against the ship's deck where
they were spending the weekend action Thank you. All this despite the fact that
the star of "West Side Story" water was terrified and did not want to
get into the pool of her younger sister, Lana Wood.
Wagner accused his colleague of
wanting to sleep with his wife, a scene that did not include Wood after
retiring to his cabin. That was the last time Wagner saw her alive. Wood fell
off the boat and drowned in the dark waters of the Pacific Ocean, off the coast
of Catalina Island.
Police have reopened the case,
but according to experts, there is very little chance that Walken or Wagner is
accused of involuntary death of Hollywood legend.
